Dec. 4, 2024—Fifty-two CFISD water polo athletes earned Academic All-State honors and accolades for the 2024-2025 school year from the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA).
The THSCA Academic All-State teams recognize senior high school athletes, trainers and managers who excel in the following categories: grade-point average, class rank and ACT/SAT scores. Honorees then earn elite, first-team, second-team or honorable mention honors based on their scores and averages.
Cypress Woods High School senior Ethan Shoemaker was named to the Texas High School Coaches Association’s Academic All-State honors second team.
Cypress Woods High School senior Roshan Kamdar was named to the Elite Team.
